Turtle Beach on Siesta Key

A few days ago, we decided to drive down to Siesta Key to check out some of the beaches there. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them and I must say they are pretty amazing. The water was a tad cold, but the weather was in the 70’s so I managed to go take a quick swim before quickly running back to shore.

One of the beaches we checked out is known as Turtle Beach. Turtle Beach is a small beach in terms of depth, but I seem to prefer that over the larger beaches. It makes it feel more secluded, especially since the beach was not that crowded.

One of the things I noticed was how many seashells are on Turtle Beach. It was literally full of them and they almost made it difficult to walk along the water. Other than that, I loved the beach. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean.

Short Video Of The Beach

Here’s a short video I took while standing on the beach:

More Beaches To Come

Once the weather warms up a bit, I’ll definitely be checking out more beaches that Florida has to offer. So stay tuned for more photos and videos in the upcoming months.

Hey Justin, nice looking beach. What I love about the coast is the plethora of beaches you can visit. I try to stay away from the busy tourist beaches here in Costa Rica and go to the more secluded ones..

Yeah that’s what I’m hoping to do here in Florida. Once in a while I like going to the really crowded ones, but I much prefer hanging out on a secluded beach where all you can hear is the ocean.
