Hey Everyone, hope the week is going well. Once again, it’s time for another WWWTP Thursday! So here you have it:
What’s Wrong With This Photo?
If you live anywhere near Tempe, you have probably seen a thousand of these by now. They are literally on every single corner of every single block. I’m pretty much waiting for the election to get over so I don’t have to look at them anymore. Anyways, here are a few things that strike me as wrong in this photo:
1. The Guys Name is Schmuck
I am not dissing this guy, but I have to admit he could have any other name and it would look so much better. “Team Schmuck” just doesn’t ring as something I want to endorse for our community. Especially when I did some research on UrbanDictionary and found these definitions of the work Schmuck:
- 1. A hypocrite, dumbshit, and/or liar.
–person who you can define as a friend and ends up
screwing you over or doing something really stupid that does damage to the both of you
- 2. The Foreskin that is removed from the Penis during a circumcision.
I don’t know about you, but the first definition really doesn’t look good for someone running in an election. No one wants to vote for a hypocrite that is going to screw you over someday.
But, besides all of that, I am willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Why? because of this:
2. The Slogan…That’s Right!
This Schmuck is using “That’s Right” as his slogan, which I think is awesome. Not only is he a Schmuck (by family name of course), but he is willing to admit that fact. He isn’t hiding the fact that he is one, but instead is using it for his own good. Judging by the amount of signs I see for this guy, I have a feeling it may be working.
3. Endorsed by Police
I noticed on this particular sign, that there was a sticker with the saying “Endorsed by Police.” This really made me wonder, what the heck does this even mean? Do all of the police endorse this one guy? Or is it just some sort of marketing gimmick saying the police think this guy is the man. I have no idea…
I saw a few other Schmuck signs that had even more stickers on them. This guy is endorsed by the police, the veterans, and just about every other group of people. So he must be doing something right.
So everyone, go ahead and check out this dude’s website TeamSchmuck.com and see what you think of him.
